Trolltunga -means  Troll tongue- what a fun project, as my granddaughter is living in Norway for about 2 years she took a hike to this unusual location.

Trolltunga is a piece of rock jutting horizontally out of a mountain about 700 metres above the north side of the lake Ringedalsvatnet in the municipality of Odda in Hordaland county, Norway.

I could't help trying to put it on paper. It became a Christmas present . She was happy with it and I love the challenge of doing it.

As I have been discovering the thrill of my new medium, pastels, I found the challenge of this beautiful place very fulfilling. As I worked on it I am again reminded of the power of our Great God.
